This product can be used to extract total RNA from biological samples such as less than 30 mg of animal tissues (liver, heart, kidney, spleen, intestines, etc.), less than 100 mg of plant tissues (stems, leaves, seeds, etc.), and less than 1.0E+07 cultured cells (HL60, 293T, etc.) etc. The kit adopts a unique cleavage system, which can be used to rapidly lyses the tissues or cells and inhibit the nucleases released from the cells without the need for toxic phenol-chloroform extraction. The unique lysis system eliminates the need for toxic phenol-chloroform extraction and rapidly lyses tissues or cells while inhibiting nuclease released by the cells, maintaining RNA integrity. The genomic DNA is removed by gDNA Eraser Mini Column or DNase I, and then high purity and high yield RNA is obtained by Universal RNA Mini Column, and the purified Total RNA can be directly used in various molecular biology experiments, such as Northern hybridization, mRNA purification, in vitro translation, RT-PCR, and so on. The purified Total RNA can be used directly for Northern hybridization, mRNA purification, in vitro translation, RT-PCR and other molecular biology experiments. If desired, Total RNA can be treated with DNase I (Code No. AG12001) to remove trace amounts of DNA.
