This product is a kit for the extraction of total RNA from mammalian fresh or frozen blood and can handle blood samples with a wide range of anticoagulants. The kit utilizes a unique lysis system that eliminates the need for toxic phenol-chloroform extraction, and is capable of rapidly lysing blood cells while inhibiting the nuclease enzymes released by the cells, preserving the integrity of the RNA. The 10X RCL Buffer lyses red blood cells and collects leukocytes, which are then lysed and passed through the Blood RNA Mini Column to obtain high-purity, high-yield RNA, and the purified Total RNA can be used for Northern hybridization, mRNA purification, in vitro translation, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, and other molecular biology applications. The purified Total RNA can be directly used for Northern hybridization, mRNA purification, in vitro translation, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR and other molecular biology experiments. If necessary, Total RNA can be treated with DNase I (Code No. AG12001) to remove the contained DNA.

*2: Before using Buffer RWB for the first time, please add 63 ml of 100% ethanol (Buffer RWB to anhydrous ethanol volume ratio of 3:7), mix well, mark the bottle and store at room temperature.
*3: It is recommended to store at -20°C after opening. This component is for RNA elution only. Nuclease-free water for dilution of 10X RCL Buffer should be provided.
*4: This component is only used to elute RNA, the centrifuge tube used for pre-lysis should be provided.
