The 1X dsDNA HS Assay Kit is a fluorescence quantification kit for the rapid, sensitive and accurate detection of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) with the Qubit Fluorometer. It consists of a premixed working solution (with fluorescent detection reagents) and a dsDNA standard, which enables accurate quantification of dsDNA samples at concentrations of 10 pg / μl ~ 100 ng / μl (any sample volume from 1 ~ 20 μl, total dsDNA amount from 0.2 ~ 100 ng) in a 200 μl system. Within a certain range, it has good tolerance to conventional contaminants such as proteins, salts, detergents, etc.; compared with single-stranded DNA ( ssDNA ), RNA, proteins and free nucleotides, this product is highly selective for double-stranded DNA ( dsDNA ).
The product is a ready-to-use premix, easy to use, simply add the dsDNA sample to be tested into the working solution and mix well, incubate at room temperature for 2 min, then use the Qubit Fluorometer for detection.
1. High sensitivity: wide linear range, showing good linearity in the range of 0.2 ~100 ng dsDNA.
2. High specificity: highly specific for dsDNA, equal concentrations of RNA and ssDNA hardly interfere with the determination of dsDNA concentration.
3. Strong anti-interference performance: can tolerate high concentrations of salt ions, ethanol, chloroform, detergents, proteins, dNTPs, etc., and can directly quantify PCR amplification products.
4. Simple and quick operation: Simply add the sample to the working solution 1X dsDNA HS Working Solution and incubate at room temperature for 2 min before detecting it with the Qubit fluorometer.
