Product Description
Klenow fragment is a large fragment obtained by enzymatic cleavage of E. coli DNA polymerase I. This product is a recombinant protein obtained by constructing the Klenow gene sequence into a plasmid and purifying it for expression in E. coli.
This product has 5’→3 ’ DNA polymerase activity and 3’→5’ nucleic acid exonuclease activity, while lacking 5’→3’ nucleic acid exonuclease activity, and can be applied to DNA 5 ’ or 3’ protruding end smoothing.
