Recombinant Human PTP1B Protein (His)

This product is made of E. coli Recombinant human PTP1B protein truncate (amino acid residues 1-322) containing catalytic domains with N-His tag and molecular weight of about 38 kDa is expressed, which has good enzyme activity and can be used as a drug target to establish a system to screen drug molecules for the treatment of obesity, type II diabetes mellitus, and cancer.
Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase-1 B (PTP1B) is a typical member of the PTP family, which inhibits a variety of membrane receptor tyrosine kinases, such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGF), and insulin receptor (IR), and inhibits the cascade reaction of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)/myosin receptor kinase B (TrkB). BDNF)/tropomyosin receptor kinase B (TrkB) cascade and participates in the regulation of apoptosis by activating ERK and reducing Smad2/Smad3 phosphorylation. It is involved in the pathophysiology of a variety of diseases, including cancer, metabolic diseases, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and neurologic diseases. Currently, most of the clinical studies targeting PTP1B are still focused on obesity and type II diabetes.

*1: Recombinant Human PTP1B Protein(His) ( 3 mg/ml ) is packaged with P-Exchange Buffer in Package 2-1 and should be stored at -20℃; G-25 Desalting Column is packaged in Package 2-2 and should be stored at 4℃.
*2: The P-Exchange Buffer included in this product is for desalination and activity measurement systems only. For other assay systems, this reagent should be prepared by yourself. The reagents are: 50 mM Bis-Tris, 50 mM Tris, 100 mM NaOAc, 10 mM DTPA, 0.5% Tween 80, 0.05% IGEPAL CA-630, and the pH is adjusted to 7.0 at 25℃.
