Product Description
This product is specifically designed for Small RNA libraries containing UMI (Unique Molecular Identifier) sequences with 5’ TSO-joined primers, specifically designed to be used with the AccuNext Small RNA Library Preparation Kit (Illumina) (Code No. AG12511, AG12512) can be used, and the smRNA Adapter Mix Solution can be completely replaced by this product without any change in usage.
The UMI sequence of this product is a short random sequence of 8 nt, which can be used to add a unique molecular barcode to each cDNA during reverse transcription, and specifically label each cDNA; after constructing the library by PCR amplification and sequencing, the reads obtained from sequencing can be filtered out the duplicated reads and the sequences with errors in PCR amplification with high accuracy by the bioinformatics software. Therefore, the use of UMI-conjugated primers for library construction and sequencing can reduce PCR bias, exclude false positives, improve sequencing accuracy, and provide more accurate information for sequencing analysis.
